Crooked Rose and the CIA--episode 4

“What do you mean?” Vincent asked him nervously. “If I wanted you to know I would have continued the sentence and not stopped at ‘anymore’” Erin said cockily. Vincent had the urge to jump up and punch him, but he knew that wouldn’t help the situation. “Lucky for you, we have an agent that would be more than willing to find that kind of information out. But if you ever decide to let me know, give me a ring” Vincent said and stomped out of the cell. Erin chuckled and lay down on his cold, uncomfortable prison bed.

--Brussels—

A tall woman sauntered into a bar. She threw her coat over her shoulder and put on lipstick. A man off in the corner had his arm around a lady. A serious face spread across his face and he stood up. “Karen?” he asked. “Ivan?!” she screamed gaily and ran over to him. She hugged him and he laughed at the strange meeting. “What are you doing in Brussels?”
“I have a business trip”
“Who do you work for?”
“An automobile company” she lied. He bought it. “Sit,” he said, “We have a lot of catching up to do.” Karen sat down. “Not too much chit chat, we have business” Falcon said into her earpiece. “Can we go somewhere more private?” she asked. Karen started to stroke his hair and he smiled. “To my manor?”
The ride to the manor had nice scenery; it was even nicer when you saw it all through the windows of a Bentley. “So, what is the business trip about?”
“We are trying to sell an American made car here in Belgium” she replied. Suddenly, they took a detour off the main road. “This isn’t the way to the manor”
“I found this way last year. It’s quicker.” Karen started to become nervous. The car came to a halt in the middle of a field and Ivan stepped out. He pulled out a gun and put it to her head. “I know you didn’t come here to make amends with me” he yelled. Karen stepped out of the car. “Ivan, what are you talking about?”
“Don’t think I didn’t see that gun on your thigh. What do you want from me, tell me or I will add another hole in your head”…
