Luciano Pavarotti: Dead.

Today, Luciano Pavarotti, a world-famous tenor, died at the age of 71. He was born in Modena, Itlay a performed in hundreds, perhaps thousands of opera performances, not to mention sung alongside of other world-famous singers.

If anyone is interested (and if you have FTV), there is a documentary on tonight about him at 10:30.

He was one of those that you kind of always thought would be there. Kind of like how Steve Irwin was, except while watching him you were half between 'I love this guy' and 'I wonder when he's going to kick the bucket,' for the seeming inevitibility.
